Tom Hendrick, an avid trail hiker, geocacher, and citizen of Garland, knows RCP well and wanted to do something in the way of giving back to it. So he has created an event that includes both geocaching and trash pickup elements for all like minded individuals.
It will take place starting out at Garland’s Rivercrest Park and proceeding to RCP’s Loop 14 with a weenie roast after the work is finished. More details can be found on the geocaching.com web site at the following specific URL:

Directions: From E Centerville Road go west on Castle Drive to Rivercrest Lane turn northeast and proceeds to Bosque Lane. From N First Street or SH78 or N Country Club Road go east on Castle Drive to Rivercrest Lane turn northeast and proceed to Bosque Lane.
