About this event
Are you brand new to mountain biking or need a refresher? Join us at our women's beginner clinic at Oak Cliff Nature Preserve.
We'll cover the basics, along with drills and tie it all together for a group ride.
Topics that will be covered: trail etiquette, body position, braking, shifting, turning/cornering, line selection, and small trail obstacles.
Bring your bike, your helmet, sports water bottle, and any other safety equipment you normally use while riding. Please make sure your bike is in good working condition prior to the clinic.
DORBA will provide water for refills and light snacks. Please bring anything else you may want to eat.
Who: This is open to riders age 14+. Riders younger than 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver on their behalf. This clinic is for members only. Not a member? Become one today!
Duration: 2 hours
This clinic is limited to 15 riders. If you can’t make it, please let us know ASAP so we can make your spot available.
Please park along the street or the grass area before the entrance. Part of the parking lot will be closed off to set up for drills.
Do you have some riding experience and can help out? We need volunteers for leads/sweeps, please sign up here.
