Jonas Orset: “The Nordic Trailblazer”
Orset, a Norwegian road cyclist born September 29, 1990 (Procyclingstats) , built his career across multiple disciplines and continents. As a UCI Continental pro, he raced for teams in Belgium, Colombia, Spain, China, and the US — becoming the first Norwegian to race in an Asian continental team in 2015. He transitioned into gravel and endurance racing with impressive results: two Styrkeprøven (Trondheim–Oslo) victories, back-to-back Gran Fondo World Tour wins, a world record for 10,000 meters of elevation gain, and back-to-back appearances at the UCI Gravel World Championships in the Elite category. Off the bike, he co-founded Green Cycling Norway, works as a certified coach and motivational speaker, and organizes cycling events for athletes of all ages.
