About this event
Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day is nationwide event held annually on the first Saturday of October. Established in 2004 by the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) and recognized by Congress, this day is dedicated to introducing young people to the exhilarating sport of mountain biking. Over the years, more than 100,000 kids have discovered the thrill of the trails through this initiative.
On October 4th, join Grapevine Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Grapevine Police Department, DORBA, and Southlake REI, for an exhilarating day at Horseshoe Trails. Grab your helmet, bicycle, and gear, and come join the fun!
Please register so we can plan to have enough volunteers and leads for this event.
All participants must fill out the DORBA waiver and wear a helmet.
